Philosophy
Why
Diana is passionate about empowering people and organisations to thrive, and be the best they can be.
Throughout her professional career, Diana has identified a real need for improved promotion of wellbeing and work-life balance in health care and academia.
She is convinced that the unhealthy culture in health care needs to change, sooner rather than later.
Communication, collaboration and leadership within the health care sector need to be addressed, in order to enhance the 'Zufriedenheit', wellbeing and performance of individuals and teams.
How
Her philosophy is that establishing trust and open communication is the first step in any professional relationship. This is then followed by helping clients gain awareness, define their values, learn about their strengths and align their efforts with these.
She works holistically, encouraging clients to address body, mind, emotional and spiritual aspects (also see performance pyramid by Loehr & Schwartz).
She engages in evidence-based coaching practice with a solution focused approach, based on acceptance commitment theory, positive psychology and cognitive behavioural science.
What
Clients are encouraged to experiment and learn in a safe space, and to take agency for themselves, thus being able to live and work in a more authentic and satisfying way. In other words, she supports people in working out who they are and supports them in doing what really matters to them.
Her specialty includes accompanying clients on their journey of self-development (developmental coaching), navigating change, attaining goals, finding and maintaining a healthy work-life balance, and improving communication.
Diana offers personalised coaching to individuals (one-on-one), as well as group facilitation, workshops, moderation of panel discussions and focus group discussions.
Diana operates in accordance with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) guidelines & ethical code of conduct. She participates in ongoing, continuous education and coaching supervision, and is a member of the Institute for Learning Professionals (ILP).
